Gary Roberts takes up post with Small Countries Financial Management Centre
Former Chief Constable of the Isle of Man Gary Roberts has taken up a new post.
After serving at the helm of the Isle of Man Constabulary for more than ten years he's been appointed Executive Director of the Small Countries Financial Management Centre.
He becomes the third person to hold the post since it was established in 2008, and follows in the footsteps of Professor Tim Cullen MBE and the late Mark Shimmin MBE.
Stephen Pickford, chairman of the SCFMC, said Mr Roberts' insight into the challenges small jurisdictions face will help the organisation to continue to provide relevant and meaningful training and development for public officials from small countries around the world.
