Authority were told it's only available for reports and planning
Ramsey Commissioners have been declined money through the Climate Change Fund for an electric refuse wagon and LED street lights.
At its public meeting last night, the board revealed it was told that the money was only available for 'preparatory' work such as feasibility reports and planning.
Funding was made available by Treasury last year and this was topped by an extra £5 million pounds as part of the budget.
