DoI Minister quizzed in Tynwald
The Department of Infrastructure says it’s not aware of any ‘conflict’ between school bus services and cruise line bookings.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse raised the issue in Tynwald this week saying some teachers had suggested that restrictions would be in place over the summer term.
However Minister Tim Crookall disputed this saying schools would have access to bus services between 15 April to 19 July.
He was also quizzed about whether cruise liners paid more money to hire the public transport when visiting the Island:
