Minister says no complaints over matter to Manx passport office
There have been no discussions at political or officer level with the UK about delays to obtaining passports.
That's from Cabinet Office Minister Kate Lord-Brennan who says no complaints have been made to the Isle of Man passport office with regard to the issuing of the official document.
In response, a Douglas North MHK queried the findings as not all Manx passports are issued on Island as the Isle of Man can only process applications for those who can attend in person.
David Ashford went on to ask why there were significant differences in timings to receive a passport between the expected 21 days on Island, as opposed to several months if applying for a Manx passport via the UK.
