
The chief minister has told the House of Keys he has no intention of ending final salary pensions for new recruits to the civil service, saying such a move would be divisive.
Allan Bell was responding to a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran, who'd asked him to make a statement on the issue.
Mr Bell then refuted a suggestion from Mr Karran that problems were being created for the next administration, by not going further with pension changes:
