Chair pays tribute to ex-clerk
The chairman of Port St Mary Commissioners has paid tribute to its outgoing clerk following his resignation.
But Laurence Vaughan-Williams says rules on confidentiality prevent him from explaining the reasons for Alistair Hamilton's departure.
Mr Vaughan-Williams was elected chairman in March following a motion of no confidence in his predecessor, Alan Grace, which also remains unexplained.
Praising Mr Hamilton's 'dynamic' approach in spite of recent staffing issues, Mr Vaughan-Williams says the board will continue to work together:
Manx Care reviewing pathways and support for those with suspected Covid-19 vaccine injury
Hopes traffic will be improved around Douglas amid road closure
Peter Padgett passes away
