Crookall asked for 'ballpark figure'
The infrastructure minister says any improvements to bus facilities in Douglas will have to be paid for by funds available in his department's current budget.
Options of a bus interchange at the Sea Terminal or upgraded facilities at Lord Street have been suggested on a short-term basis.
In July last year Tynwald agreed a resolution that improving the existing facilities in the capital should be a 'priority'.
A new mixed-use development on the Lord Street site, complete with bus station, is seen as the long-term solution.
