Those still out of work must claim jobseekers allowance instead
If you lost your job as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, you'll have to start claiming jobseekers allowance from tomorrow.
Today is the final day of the Manx Earnings Replacement Allowance, or MERA scheme.
The benefit has been paid to those who were laid off when Covid-19 measures began to impact employment in March.
The payment was reduced from £200 to £100 last month, with 927 people continuing to claim the allowance last week.
