Tynwald's legal adviser 'must remain politically neutral'
There's no need for the Attorney General to continue to sit in the Legislative Council.
That's from a Tynwald committee examining the position - recommendations for change will be presented to this month's sitting.
The panel believes the legal advisor needs to be politically neutral.
Chair of the committee, and MLC, Jane Poole-Wilson says the Attorney General's current duties aren't compatible with this:
