Citywing temporarily pulls route
Citywing will not fly to Newcastle over the next three weeks.
The ticket operator today confirmed it has canceled all scheduled flights to the north east until 25 March, as it can’t source an aircraft.
It will operate a revised schedule to Blackpool, Belfast, Gloucester and Glasgow, however.
It follows the suspension of its main carrier, Czech-registered Van Air Europe, which was grounded earlier this week after an abandoned landing.
Citywing managing director, David Buck, is apologising to passengers for inconvenience - and says they are trying to run as normal a service as possible.
