20mph speed limit debate to return in October
The Island shouldn't take a 'one size fits all' approach to speed limits.
That's the view of Infrastructure Minister Tim Baker following calls in Tynwald for a 20mph limit on all urban roads.
The debate on Middle member Bill Shimmins' motion stalled following an amendment by Mr Baker last month, and will be considered again in October.
The minister says each area has different factors to consider:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
