Dr Henrietta Ewart has confirmed there are no plans to introduce a 'circuit break' style lockdown to tackle significant levels of absence in schools.
Instead the advice is to continue voluntary LFT tests, the wearing of face coverings and washing your hands.
Dr Ewart told Manx Radio things could be reviewed once the new chief minister and Council of Ministers is in place:
