A level above an average of 85% but below 100% is considered a risk,
The staffing level of registered nurses in the Emergency Department at Noble's Hospital did not meet safe standards in any month last year.
Douglas North MHK David Ashford asked the Minister for Health and Social Care to confirm what percentage of shifts were adequately staffed in each of the last 12 months.
The hospital uses the Healthroster System, which "is designed to indicate a risk to safe and high-quality care where staffing levels fall below 85 per cent".
A level above an average of 85 per cent but below 100 per cent is considered a risk, but is acceptable in most locations.
On hundred per cent indicates staffing was satisfactory and as planned.
In his written answer, Lawrie Hooper confirmed the highest level the hospital reached was 73% in February 2022.
