Donation from British Heart Foundation
Cardiac patients can now benefit from cutting-edge technology on the Island, thanks to a charity offering.
The British Heart Foundation Isle of Man has donated brand new ultrasound scanning equipment to Noble's Hospital.
It allows physiologists to take and analyse 3-dimensional images of the body - and even perform diagnoses on the same day.
The BHF predicts the equipment will reduce waiting lists, provide more consistent results, and be used thousands of times per year.
