Legislative Buildings host cultural accolades
This Friday (6) sees the presentation to the winners of the North American Manx Association Awards for 2018.
The competition is for young people nominated by the public and schools for their creativity, community involvement, and commitment to learning.
The awards mainly recognise the achievements of under-18s - however, two awards are open to older recipients, too.
Categories include Manx music, the Manx language, arts and crafts that portray any aspect of Manx life, and outstanding contributions to Manx culture.
The ceremony takes place in the Barrool Suite at 2pm.
