Area has been closed for two years due to financial constraints
The reuse shed at the Northern Civic Amenity Site has re-opened on a trial basis for a month.
On Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays it will be open from 8am until 10am, whilst on Sundays it can be visited from 9am to 11am.
The area will be open all day during normal site opening hours on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
It had been closed for two years due to financial constraints following Bride Commissioners decision to stop paying its contribution to the NCAS.
The government said: "The reuse shed helps give unwanted items a second life, reducing waste and supporting reuse within the community.
"This reopening is being trialled for one month, so please make use of the facility and help us keep reusable items out of landfill."
