The National Sports Centre has come to the aid of residents of Lower Pulrose, whose water pipes have frozen during the current period of sub-zero temperatures.
Douglas Borough Council has arranged for its tenants to use the NSC shower facilities free of charge.
The service was offered yesterday (Wednesday) evening, for three hours from 4pm, and will be available again between the same times today.
Tenants must provide their own towels and proof of tenancy, and anyone using the NSC pools, or any other facilities in the complex, will be charged at the normal rates.
