Police are declining to give any more details after an officer was suspended.
In a statement, the Manx force says a male officer serving in Douglas has been suspended from duty as a result of an internal investigation.
The statement adds the officer will remain off work as the investigation progresses.
However, no further information on who the officer is or why he is being investigated will be released until the probe has been completed.
