The new chairman of Onchan Commissioners says local authorities need to have control of local authority housing if they are to progress as Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw wishes.
Rob Callister was only elected to the board a year ago and is one of the youngest chairmen in the Commissioners' history.
The board is now made up of five recently-elected members.
Speaking on Mandate today, Mr Callister said he wanted to see people being able to leave local authority housing and he wanted to support Mr Robertshaw in this aim:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
