He's floated the idea to gather opinions from his constituents
Onchan MHK Rob Callister has posted to social media this morning asking his constituents if they genuinely want a change in direction for the government.
It comes after Julie Edge was sacked as the education minister last night and Daphne Caine instated.
In recent months other Crown Dependencies have replaced their chief minsters which Mr Callister says he's received hundreds of comments in recent weeks from constituents calling for the same here.
He spoke to Christian Jones who asked him what instigated the question:
