Douglas and Onchan have been announced as the next to see the speed limits implemented across residential areas
An Onchan MHK is calling for a full 'traffic management review' alongside the rollout of 20mph speed limits in residential areas across the Island.
Rob Callister supports the move, which has been long campaigned for, but questions the Department of Infrastructure’s 'soft touch' approach to enforcement.
The infrastructure minister insists the impact of the changes will be closely monitored to assess how effective the scheme is.
But Mr Callister believes there are wider issues that need tackling too:
Government consultations need 'more objective and neutral' approach
