But Callister says politics is currently 'quite difficult'
An Onchan MHK says he's confident the Isle of Man will pull together to ensure a 'prosperous future' for the Isle of Man.
Rob Callister has described politics on the Island at present at 'quite difficult'.
He made the comments as the Isle of Man marked its national day – Tynwald Day – yesterday (5 July).
Mr Callister was re-elected in September, for a second term, but admits the issues which need tackling now are different from those raised in his election campaign:

Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
Ayre and Michael MHKs request meeting with commissioners over rates
Data breach impact rises sharply as cyber incidents affect thousands on Isle of Man
