Manx Utilities undertaking sewage works on main route out of Douglas
A one-way system is to be put in place on Peel Road out of Douglas for two weeks in August.
Manx Utilities will be undertaking essential sewage maintenance work on the route from the junction with Athol Street to Circular Road from 1 - 14 August.
Parking will be suspended along all of St Georges Street and the layby opposite the Brown Bobby filling station.
The authority says it's working with the Department of Infrastructure, and other utilities, to avoid the need for further traffic disruption in the area in the near future.
