PAC hears from health bosses in public
Yesterday afternoon (Wed 28), the Public Accounts Committee of Tynwald continued its inquiry into what's been coined 'overspending' at Noble's Hospital.
This oral evidence session, one year on from the committee's first report on the matter, was designed to see what progress has been made since it was published in January 2018.
Dollin Mercer has this report:
BMA finds less than a quarter of doctors recommend working at Manx Care
Thirteen people entered or tried to enter the Island without immigration permission since January 2025
Abuse towards bus drivers 'will not be tolerated'
Thousands tell Steam Packet what they want to see replace Manannan
Mountain Road closed due to snow and ice
