Female politicians to share experiences
Female politicians past and present will be speaking about their experiences in Tynwald at the Positive Action Group's meeting this evening.
PAG is hoping to stimulate debate about the number of women in Manx politics, and how more can be encouraged to put themselves forward.
There are currently ten in Tynwald - five MHKs and five MLCs - out of a total of 32 members.
Joanne Posey, who is on PAG's committee, explains the format of the meeting:
'Women in Manx Politics' is taking place at the Manx Legion Club on Market Hill, starting at 7.30pm. It's free to attend and everyone is welcome.
