Substance washing up on Island beaches
Palm oil has been washed up on Manx beaches again, say police.
They're urging dog owners to be on the lookout for it
Palm oil is a whitish, waxy substance that smells like diesel.
It can make dogs sick if they eat it, and in extreme cases can prove fatal.
The police recommend owners keep their pets on a lead and make sure they keep well away from any palm oil.
If you think your dog has some of the substance, contact a vet immediately.
You're also asked to report any sightings of it to the Marine Operations Centre on 686612.
