Parents of the Island's 12,000 school pupils are being urged to make arrangements to get their children to school next Wednesday if a threatened strike by bus drivers goes ahead.
The drivers' union UNITE has called a two-day walkout next week in a row over changes to their working conditions.
That's if talks today (Thursday) between the union and the Leisure department fail to resolve the dispute.
The first day of the planned walk out next Tuesday is Tynwald Day, a bank holiday.
But the second on Wednesday, would affect all school bus services.
