Parents need to register their children with a school by the end of January.
Any child who is turning five in the academic year for 2020/21 must be signed up to a primary school within their catchment area.
Nurseries will be working with primary schools to ensure they have the correct information.
A letter with accompanying information will be sent out to families who have registered their children, via their nursery, playgroup or home address.
