Registered walkers can defer to 2021 or get full refund
This year's Parish Walk has been cancelled.
The walk had been due to take place on the 20th June.
Race Director Raymond Cox has made the decision to avoid the risk of spreading coronavirus.
Walkers who have already registered to take part will be contacted by email and offered the option of deferring their entry to the 2021 – set to take place on the 19th June next year.
For residents who don't want to defer/transfer their entry can gain a full refund.
Mr Cox says, 'the Parish Walk Team is very sad to make the announcement, but has to ensure the safety of walkers and the hundreds of volunteers.'
