
An Island audience has heard how Parkinson’s Disease causes more than tremors and dementia.
Speaking at a lecture day organised by the Parkinson’s Disease Society Isle of Man, pharmacologist Professor Peter Jenner from Kings College, London updated the local audience on current research.
The event at the Palace Hotel (20 May) attracted patients, carers and medical professionals, and aimed to give scientists and physicians an opportunity to interact with them face-to-face.
