Passing legislation to modernise the Isle of Man's criminal justice system is 'only the start'.
That's the view of the Home Affairs and Justice Minister who says actually implementing new laws on domestic abuse, sexual offences and justice reform is more challenging.
Jane Poole-Wilson says she has to be realistic about how her department prioritises the work which needs to be done.
And she admits it's important not to 'run before they walk':
