Police say 'mindless damage' must stop
Peel Cathedral has suffered from a spate of petty vandalism in recent weeks according to police, with youths the prime suspects.
Tea and coffee have been scattered around inside the building and wicks pulled out of candles in what officers have described as incidents of 'mindless damage'.
The Western Neighbourhood Policing Team has taken to social media to ask parents 'do you know what your children are up to?'.
They're asking anybody with information about who may be causing the damage to let police know so further problems can be prevented - and warn the desecration must stop.
