Follows closure of Moore's Smokehouse
A Peel commissioner says business owners are taking a 'risk' opening new shops in the town.
Following the closure of Moore's Smokehouse, Hazel Hannan is urging residents to shop local otherwise the businesses won't 'exist'.
The local authority has looked into writing a 'welcome letter' to those who are new to the town.
Mrs Hannan says Peel is benefitting from people taking a chance:
Sailings cancelled due to predicted gales
Have your say on the future of the Island's plantations
Warning for 'disorderly' parents attending schools
Yellow weather warning for gale force winds
New board members sought for abattoir
