73-year-old facing rape allegations
A pensioner facing nine sex crime allegations has been remanded in custody.
John Edward Corran of Edmund Chadwick Grove in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas courthouse.
The 73-year-old faces five charges of indecently assaulting a woman, two of indecent assault on a child, and one each of rape and attempted rape between 1982 and 1997.
There was no application for bail and Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody to appear again on 17 November.
