More than 600 people sign document
A petition to reverse the decision to register a derelict building in Ramsey has been handed to the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister.
Six hundred people have signed the document, calling for the old farmer's combine warehouse, on West Quay, to be removed from the protected buildings list.
The petition was presented by Julie Billingsley to Geoffrey Boot and the director of planning, Jennifer Chance.
The warehouse was added to the Island's protected buildings register in February, though many have opposed the listing, calling it a barrier to redevelopment of the area.
Ms Billingsley supports the redevelopment of brownfield sites, but says this building needs to go:
