Swagelok looking to demolish site and create new building
The Island's vehicle and driving test centre could be redeveloped if planners give the green light.
Swagelok has submitted proposals which would see the current site in Tromode demolished.
A new building would then be constructed and include office space, an assembly and test area with laboratories and quality control.
A new vehicle test centre is already being constructed at a nearby location.
When completed the centre will relocate to the new area leaving the current site vacant which would then be occupied by Swagelok.
In its application the company says it believes, if approved, the site would bring economic benefits to the Island.
The plans are now pending consideration.
