Questions about the competence of the Isle of Man's police force are to be asked in Tynwald next month.
At the end of last month, Manx Radio reported on a court judgement, in which Deemster Moran said police officers' handling of a case contained multiple serious failures which he called 'an almost complete dereliction of duty'.
Sydney Tomlinson, the daughter of a police officer, had been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after allegedly stabbing a man accused of fighting with her boyfriend.
But Deemstar Moran dropped the case, and hit out at the police, saying in summary the officers failed to obtain and preserve any of the footage from any of the numerous cameras that would have shown relevant events.
Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw is to be asked by Michael MHK David Cannan if he is concerned at Deemster Moran's recent comments.
There's also a two-part question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.
He's asking Mr Earnshaw what disciplinary action has been taken against the officers concerned.
He also wants to know if Ms Tomlinson is related to anyone connected with the police.
