Police are appealing for information after a stolen vehicle was crashed and abandoned near the Liverpool Arms public house in Onchan.
The silver Lexus IS 200 car was travelling towards Baldrine when it collided with a grass hedge.
It then continued for a short distance before being abandoned on the tram lines on Groudle Road.
Police believe the accident happened around 1.30am on Friday.
