A major police investigation is underway this weekend into a violent incident in the north of the Island, which left two men needing hospital treatment for head injuries.
Emergency services were called to Ballaugh Cronk at around 7.30pm on Thursday, where they found one man thought to have been involved in the disturbance.
A second man was found close to the scene later on. Both are in their 20s.
Detectives believe the pair may have been involved in a disturbance in a flat in Ramsey earlier.
It's understood some police leave has been cancelled, with officers from around the Island brought into the investigation.
The police football side called-off its game against Onchan on Saturday, while the force's rugby team has also been hit.
