Reports of drivers not sticking to 10mph limit
Police have issued a warning to motorists who've been breaking the speed limit on the Douglas Promenade walkway.
Officers from the Island's Roads Policing Unit say they've received reports of drivers not observing the 10mph limit.
As a result, the team will be using its unmarked police vehicles to monitor driver behaviour in the area.
The walkway is currently providing additional parking during the promenade regeneration works, as well as continuing to be used by pedestrians and cyclists.
