
Police are appealing for witnesses to what's been described as a serious road traffic accident on Douglas Promenade yesterday (Saturday).
It happened around 3.30pm in the area of the Hilton Hotel and involved a Black Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the accident and, in particular, any vehicles that might have been following the Vauxhall prior to the collision.
