Police are investigating after a motorbike rider died in an accident in the North of the Island yesterday (Tuesday).
The incident happened at 5.40pm on the Kirk Michael to Ballaugh road, at the North Orrisdale loop junction.
A green converted ambulance and a motorcycle were involved and although the biker was airlifted to Noble’s Hospital, he later died from his injuries.
Both the driver of the ambulance and the rider are thought to be visitors to the Island.
