Potential drug smugglers in the Northwest of England are being warned the Isle of Man will treat them harshly if they are caught.
An information campaign has been launched to tell would be drug couriers about the stiff penalties they could face.
Posters will be displayed in airports and harbours with passenger links to the Island, in the hope smugglers will think twice about breaking the law.
