Black ice reported by residents to EJCR
Police warn roads in the south are 'extremely slippery' - and black ice is being reported Island-wide in low-lying areas.
The Roads Policing Team has been out assessing the danger after recorded temperatures of freezing and below overnight and this morning - it says people need to be extra careful, particularly around housing estates.
Not long ago, there was a road traffic accident in Port St Mary due to the conditions - luckily no one was hurt.
Department of Infrastructure workers are still out gritting, but many of the minor roads may not have been done.
