Letters attempt to trick victim into paying for luck or protection
Police are urging Manx residents to be vigilant of scam letters claiming to offer help from a psychic or clairvoyant circulating on the Island.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team warns these scams try to trick the victim into buying a lucky charm, only to be sent a worthless item or nothing at all.
The letters can also claim to see a fake future event and offer protection in return for payment.
Officers are urging anyone who receives such a letter to put in straight in the bin.
