Every primary school child in the Isle of Man will meet their local police officer as part of a new scheme.
The Manx Constabulary's first all-Island primary school liason programme was unveiled at Laxey Primary School on Monday afternoon.
The scheme's mascots, policeman Sam and his car MAN1E (Manny), will feature in lessons given by officers in the coming months.
They will visit all 35 primary schools, teaching pupils about personal safety, substance awareness and social behaviour.
