The man behind the Manx People Power Survey has highlighted the public's desire to see the chief minister popularly elected as one of the key findings of the research.
Other highlighted issues included a plan for improving the Isle of Man's negotiating position with the United Kingdom, and improving the efficiency of government.
Professor Hugh Davidson says it's now up to politicians and civil servants to decide what, if anything, they wish to do with the findings.
