Issue divides opinion on day two of October Tynwald
Tynwald members have been at loggerheads this afternoon and evening, debating the Area Plan for the East.
It's being moved by the Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer to be approved by the court.
However hours of discussion, moves to adjourn as well as those to amend, have meant the issue has eaten up more time than normal.
Tynwald will therefore reconvene tomorrow morning from 10:30am, day three of this month's sitting.
President Steve Rodan suggested this month's sitting may well go into Friday, and perhaps even Monday.
You can hear proceedings live on Manx Radio's AM1368, online and on our
