Crew assisted vessel with engine failure
The Port Erin lifeboat was called out on Saturday afternoon.
Under the command of helmsman Tony Mitchell, the Muriel and Leslie launched just after 15:00 to a vessel which was suffering an engine failure.
Once the lifeboat was on scene, the vessel managed to get its engine working again and the lifeboat then escorted it back to Port Erin.
The Lifeboat was recovered back into the station and made ready for service again at 16:50.
