Person on board was safe and well
Port St Mary lifeboat was called out last night, to go to the aid of a yacht adrift in calm conditions.
It was situated one mile south east of the Chicken Rock lighthouse at the time.
The lifeboat launched at about 10.20pm and made its way to the vessel under clear conditions.
Having assessed that the one person on board was safe and well, the crew made sure the yacht was safely towed back to Port St Mary harbour.
